It's also really power hungry, so if you have to go away from your computer for awhile, it could become very annoying. However, it is a huge download and big resource hog. I keep a version of this book on my USB drive, formatted as.epub, in case I can't get access to a computer with Calibre installed.Ĭanonical have launched the Ubuntu app store (and Ubuntu Software Center, which is how you get Ubuntu apps) so there are many online resources for finding and installing apps. Utopia – I've found this software for converting PDF files to.epub really useful as you can have several pages per page and it doesn't use a lot of system resources. It's also useful for converting.pdf to.epub, so you don't have to do your own conversions.
